it’s the windiest day in history today here in Edmonton. the wind has already reached 95 km/hr and the sun isn’t even all the way up yet!
i’m hoping for a non-severe tornado to touch down for entertainment sake.
ANYWAYS. TONIGHT I”M GEARING UP TO GET DOWN AT 2 GREAT SHOWS IN EDMONTON.
The first being Cris Derksen and Tanya Tagaq’s show at McDougall Church downtown. Cris is my only favorite punk cellist who currently resides in East Van. Since moving back to Edmonton she is on my top 5 people i miss partying with. Cris will be accompanying the brillo Tanya Tagaq the Inuit throat singer who has travelled the world performing with amazing artists, one most noteably being BJORK. Together they make insano music that blows my mind. After the show the party will probably flow to PLAY Edmontons newest worst GAY BAR GAY BARRRR
*sorry no music uploaded for the Derksen/Taqac show, just trust me it’s damn gooooood.
Second being Phil Deanes band The Drop Outs…the show is at Wunderbar on whyte ave, and their band is the epitome of canadian punk rock. The lead singer (phils bro) has a great voice and i’m really excited to watch Phil nervously play tonight because in real life he is the most nervous shy man i have ever met.
forgive the recording it was done on my computer: cancel that, i have no idea how to
