i’m not sure if it’s just me but whenever i’d see pictures like this in Nat’l Geograpghic as a young girl i’d always have this overwhelming desire to visit that exact spot and just take a running jump off the highest summit. Obviously with this picture i would just hit the steep stairs and proceed to break every bone in my body before dying of pain and shock. BUT for some reason in thought it still just looks so appealing to take the chance…to just float down like a stunt wire was invisably attached somehow. anyhow.
life is rarely as fun as my dreams on any given day.

mehh right now i’m sitting up in bed trying to get E to pay attention to my one-handed typing. It’s not working, it’s failing miserably…
so i came up with a rap that i’m debating sending to her. I’m holding back because she may get snickety about the whole paying for education and 30 year old part. I’ll just leave this for the vault of my blog and focus on youtubing as many bill maher clips as possible.

The mother of Oscar winning actress Jennifer Hudson has been killed.
Investigators said two shooting victims were discovered inside a home belonging to Hudson’s mother just before 3:00 PM on Friday.
The home is located at 7019 South Yale in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood.
One of the victims was 57-year-old Darnell Hudson.
The other victim was identified as Jennifer’s brother, Jason. A cousin who lived nearby discovered the bodies.
Darnell was shot in the head and Jason was shot in the chest, according to a spokesman for the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
The shooting is believed to be domestic, police said.
Hudson is said to be flying to Chicago from Tampa.

Update: A search is under way for a young boy who is missing from the home. A child, possibly Jennifer Hudson’s 7-year-old nephew, Julian King, is missing, according to sources. Police are searching for an SUV that was seen in the area, a 1994 white Suburban, Illinois license plate number X584859.
“Video The Vote” is urging voters to get ready for election problems with a new video. The group urges people to film any issues they see at polling places and send them the footage to distribute to the mainstream media. The video recalls the problems in Florida in 2000 and Ohio in 2004, tying them to Jim Crow-era voting restrictions like poll taxes and literacy tests.
