I want to learn patois so damn bad, but i get all bashful whenever i have a chance to really show off my new found vocab. There is something so “white” about the canadian accent that buthers any hopes of sounding legit, but nonetheless i feel like my E for Effort approach in speaking it around the Jamaicans i know is worth a pat on the back at least. It’s better than trying to speak dirty French to the quebecois, who just scrunch up their face and instantly start speaking to you in English to save you from massacring their shitty-anyways language.

The grandmarket was today in Morrant Bay. I saw my first ever real life gun, and 3 people got shot that night. I love this country.
